The plan of strategic development of Dong Duong Group is to take depth investment in industrial  infrastructure, tourism, real estate, logistics infrastructure. Dong Duong Urban Investment & Development JSC, a member Dong Duong Group has been appointed to carry out this mission. In period of 2006 – 2010, Dong Duong is going to build a 4-5 star hotel and resort system at some famous holiday places in Viet Nam such as: Sapa (Lao Cai), Ha Long (Quang Ninh) and Da Nang. Lao Cai is frontier province in North and West North in Viet Nam, 376 km far from Hanoi to go by railway and 345 km to go by overland. It is contiguous to Yen Bai province in the South, Son La and Lai Chau in the West, Van Nam province of China in the North, it has 203 km frontier way and it has the population of about 700.000. Lao Cai located in the valley of three large rivers: Hong River, Chay River, Da River, has many mountains chain caused its topography is multi-partition, its height changes from + 80m to + 3000m compared with the sea level. |

Developing plan of Dong Duong in the period of 2006-2010 is building a system hotels and resort with the trademark as Indochina. So that, Dong Duong decided to build Indochina Sapa Resort in Lao Chai – Sapa which is located on the side of Ham Rong mountain with 28.2 hectares, 2 km from center of Sapa, about 1600 m from sea level. The whole area is covered with 35-year-old marijuana forest.Landscape and fresh air are the most important point of the resort. From any angle of Indochina Sapa resort, we could see all Muong Hoa valley and famous springs with H’Mong villages as Hau Thao, Lao Chai, Ta Van and old stone zone. The highest temperature is 20 degree in summer and the lowest is -2 degree in winter with snow whitely covering marijuana forest. |

Sapa is a wonderful place that is located on Hoang Lien Son ranges of mountains, west of Lao Cai,  in which is the Vietnam's highest mountain, Fan si pan, at a height of 3142m above sea level. Sa Pa town, about 1600 m from the sea level, is cold, foggy whole year, and covered by old Marijuana forest. In winter, peach, chrysanthemum, plum, many kinds of trees are in bloom everywhere together with snow falling on the roof of H’Mong houses. Late 19th century, French had idea to create a resort zone for official and elite rank in Sapa. Stone villas are still  there as a witness for this plan. Sapa, about 38km far from Lao cai, has its original name as SaPả in Mandarin or SaPḠmeans “sand bank” that was created day by day. |
